The British like sport very much. They believe that sport is very important for children. That’s why the schoolchildren have to do it. It’s a part of the school programm. There are many differences between sport in Britain and in other countries. So basketball and volleyball are not very popular.

They like soccer or football, rugby and cricket. Cricket is a typically British sport. And foreigners often don’t understand it at all.
